Template. Fill in the bracketed parts with what your setup actually does, including your model provider's retention terms. Have it reviewed before launch.
What we collect
- Account data: email or sign-in identity, and payment records from our payment processor. We never see full card numbers.
- Request content: the prompts, file excerpts and command output the agent sends to the API while you work.
- Usage data: per-request token counts, cost, time and status, so we can bill you and show your usage.
What stays on your machine
The CLI runs locally. It only sends what the agent reads for the current task; it never uploads your project wholesale. Your API key is stored in ~/.redwatch/config.json on your computer.
How request content is used
- Processed to generate responses, by us and our AI model provider ([PROVIDER RETENTION TERMS]).
- Request content is [not stored / kept for N days for abuse prevention] on our servers.
- We don't use your content to train models and don't sell it.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run RedWatch (hosting, payments, the model provider), or when required by law.
Your choices
You can delete API keys at any time and request deletion of your account and data by contacting [privacy@your-domain].
